Weleda Naturals produces extracts and tinctures for the entire Weleda Group. In order to ensure optimum freshness and quality, we now have new facilities directly beside Weleda’s bio-dynamic medicinal plant gardens in Schwaebisch Gmuend-Wetzgau, Germany.

Our products include alcoholic and liquid tinctures as well as oil extracts. These are used in the production of medicines, dietetics and body care products. We produce active ingredients from both plant and animal raw materials. Our production procedures range from cold and hot extracts to all methods used within anthroposophical therapy. For our clients, we produce batches in the minimum quantity of one kilogramm to a maximum of three tons.

Our products are subject to strict quality standards.  They are produced according to the European Union (EU) Guidelines for Good Manufacturing Practice, which regulates European standards for the production of active ingredients and bulk goods. All quality controls are carried out in contract laboratories under our supervision. New analytical procedures are continuously developed in order to maintain the highest possible standards.

Our production is certified according to the EU-Eco-Regulation. As a result, we are able to offer certified organic products. The vast majority of the raw materials we use are from organic or bio-dynamic sources.
